About Kilele
Named for the summit.
Kilele is Swahili for the peak. Our coffee and cashews are grown at altitude on Tanzania's highland slopes, in the shadow of Kilimanjaro — and carried from there to the world.

Our story
We work the way trust is built.
Buyers value suppliers they have met in person — and we have built Kilele to be exactly that kind of supplier.
In this trade, a name on an invoice is not enough. The buyers who matter want to know who grows the crop, who stands behind the shipment, and who will pick up the phone when something goes wrong. So we make a point of being known.
When a sample shipment once fell short of spec, the buyer did not walk away. They stood with us — and we shipped the next one right.
That is not luck. It is what happens when a relationship is real, and it is the relationship we build with everyone we work with — grower, roaster, importer, and distributor alike.
Proudly Tanzanian
One origin, one integrated loop.
Proudly Tanzanian means more than a stamp on a sack. It means the value stays close to where the crop is grown — better tools in farmers' hands, better crop in the bag, and the premium flowing back to the farm.
Agri-tech and agronomy put reliable tools in farmers' hands, from before the seed goes in the ground through harvest.
→ Better farmer technology
Traceable, consistent coffee and cashews from highland Tanzanian farms we know by name.
→ Traceable, higher-quality crop
Direct export to roasters, importers, and distributors worldwide — origin story intact.
→ The premium buyers pay for
Grow feeds source, source feeds trade, and trade feeds the farm again. Not three businesses — one flywheel.

“I want every buyer to feel they are dealing with a person, not a faceless exporter. That is how we earn a second order.”
